Today’s exploration was the Royal Castles tour. We toured the Linderhof & Neuschwanstein Castles. They were both built by King Ludwig II (also known as the Bavaria Fairy Tale King). The Neuschwanstein Castle has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle.
We left on a tour bus at 8:30 this AM & didn’t return until around 6:30 this evening. By the time we rode the train back to our hotel, we left our backpack at our room, got a bite to eat & are now ready to call it a day.

Lissa, it is fun that I'm blogging each day...reality, though, is I know I can't remember until I get home (or even for more than ONE DAY!) all the details. It's a coping mechanism. HA!
